Berlin born designer Kilian Kerner invited us for the first day of Fashion Week to his SS14 Red Carpet Presentation, and though his collection was mostly modeled on inanimate mannequins, the scenery and the intricate designs were in fact truly reminiscent of gowns worn to the Red Carpet. Kilian Kerner is a relatively new designer who has put up his first Show at the Berlin Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in 2008, inspired by previous encounters with german pop singer Nena whom he creates outfits for since the beginning of his career. As one of the major talents in the fashion industry of germany, Kilian Kerner, with his excellent and fresh use of fabric, is hopefully set to become a landmark at London Fashion Week too, delighting us with simple elegance.
