Going through my – ridiculous amount of – photos from last Fashion Week in London, I realised that I hadn’t posted ones from a Show that really struck me – thematically – to be very interesting. I had the chance to attend the opening of LFW which was hosted by Antoni&Alison, a marching band, and their beautiful dresses. The concept behind the collection is so simple, but yet so intriguing ( as per usual, do feel free to disagree with me). Basically, they used various elements to create coloured canvases – think collage, water colour, pencil etc. – and then added their visions together. Which results in silk dresses with two completely different prints, truly showing off the character of their creators celebrating 25 years of working together as Antoni&Alison.
And in case you’d like to indulge yourself in some stylish tea, I have news for you! After a long time deliberating and planning Antoni&Alison are excited to announce the opening of the tearoom, in an elegant, Victorian, two storey tiny glass palace up some steep stairs above the store. The space was formerly their creative ‘think tank’ studio and up until now no one has ever been allowed to venture into this glass bubble. The menu offers a ‘no choice’ choice of tea with an ‘olde worlde’ cake or coffee with a ‘super modern’ biscuit.
The tearoom is located at 43 Rosebery Avenue, London, EC1R 4SH. Opening Hours: Thursday – Saturday 12.30-5.30pm
